The EBC project is located in Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes. Escuela Bancaria Comercial (EBC) is a private business school with more than 80 years of experience. The project is based on a flexible proposal that functions as an independent campus but has the possibility to be linked in the future with the mix context of residential and commercial spaces. The proposal seeks to generate public spaces that encourage the exchange of ideas and team work. Therefore, the program develops around a central semi open courtyard where a central staircase connects the two-story building.

The plan is based on four concrete blocks that enclose a central public space that can be accessed by the four corners which promotes gatherings and networking. Along the sides, the academic life takes place in a more private scheme surrounded by gardens that act as a physical and visual barrier. The cafeteria is located at the back of the building opening towards the gardens giving a pause in the active student life. In the north side of the building, there is a two-story library which seeks to inspire students. It houses a double height reading room and a digital area where they can investigate, work and study.

One of the biggest challenges in this project was to allocate 3700 m2 of parking space. This was resolved by creating two different parking lots, one underground and the other at the backside of the building.
