Proposal for a firestation in Bjørvika, Oslo. The firestation acts as a cornerstone in a so far unredeemed area of Oslo where three different characeristics of the city meet. The fortification, the green connection and the fiord.

The building is inspired by the historic firestations of Oslo, and build i red reused brick. The subtle and strong characteristics of the the enigmatic building is supposed to anchor a recreational area in Bjørvika. The big windows in the facades provides a precisely curated visual connection to the big garage and creates an opportunity for the passing citizens to get an insight into the everyday life of the fireworkers.
