San Miguel de Allende is one of the main tourist sites in México. The wine activity in the region has allowed a very important tourist and economic growth. The combination of vineyards that offer tastings and tours accompanied by good architecture has become very popular in recent years. That is why ASP had the opportunity to carry out a development of this type in a field with a little hill.

The project consists of a master plan lotified in private estates of 6000 to 8000sqm each, plus a set of vineyards and buildings destined for public recreation and rest activities in a total of 87ha. The program of public areas includes: boutique hotel, spa, clubhouse, restaurant, equestrian club and sports courts.

The design intention of the whole project is to have an aesthetic that does not compete with the existing elements but that together cause impact, that is why we seek to integrate each volume with the landscape, using horizontal concrete and stone platforms strategically located in the land to not block views from inside each space. The materials used, stone, wood, earth, gravel and pavers also function as a unifying element with the context, because of its chromatic and neutral finishes and because most of them are of local origin.

The complex also has an orchard that supplies some ingredients that are used in the restaurant. The irrigation of the vineyards is carried out by means of a drip irrigation system, supplied by two existing wells in the land. For the boutique hotel an artificial lake was designed that generates microclimates and microenvironments that favor the landscape.
